Private Jet Charters to New York

“The city that never sleeps” continues to live up to that famous saying; constantly humming with activity.  Here you will find business moguls closing deals at members only cigar lounges and celebrities dining at the table next to you in some of the world’s best restaurants.  Jet Charter to New York has only increased in recent years as the city has emerged as one of the safest in the world; something that might have been hard to imagine a few decades ago.

On your stay here want to work up an appetite to take full advantage of the dining scene so be sure to visit New York’s two world-class shopping districts, Fifth Avenue and SoHo.  Every major brand in the world aspires to have a flagship store on Fifth Avenue in MidTown, while international designers like Michael Kors can be found in SoHo.

Williamsburg is the latest hot neighborhood in the city.  You’ll find the epicenter of hipster culture with art galleries, vintage shops, unique bars and eateries just across the Williamsburg Bridge from Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

As one of the capitals of global business and a top tourist destination New York is blessed with several options for commercial and private aviation.  Most commonly private jets arrive into Teterboro, New Jersey which is just across the Hudson from Midtown and about 30 minutes drive in average traffic.  Upper East Side travelers sometimes prefer to depart from La Guardia’s Marine Air Terminal or White Plains Airport further to the north.  Kennedy and Newark are typically avoided due to their air and tarmac traffic and distance from the city.

Shorter flights, such as New York to the Hamptons or Martha’s Vineyard can be serviced by private helicopters and seaplanes which are also commonly used by the NYC elite.  Manhattan has three helipads on the East  (East 34th) and West sides  (West 30th) as well as Wall Street at the southern tip of the island.  Seaplanes depart from East 23rd Street providing a unique vantage point on the city’s skyline and bridges.

The Golden Rule:

Visit the High-Line

Built on an old industrial elevated rail line that used to deliver the meat that gave the Meatpacking District its moniker, the High-Line is now one of the world’s most unique urban settings.  Nearing its completion the park now stretches from the Standard Hotel all the way to the Javitz Center, a distance of roughly 30 blocks.  The route takes you past exciting restaurants, the Chelsea gallery district, the new Whitney Museum and allows unique views of the Hudson.
